Abstract
Major national scientific and technological infrastructure serves as a vital vehicle for advancing high-level self-reliance and strength in science and technology, while such self-reliance and strength constitute the core foundation for building this infrastructure, reflecting the integrated and dual-sided nature of national core competitiveness in the new era. This study reviews the significant achievements of major national projects in key fields and summarizes the relevant experience from the perspectives of national policy, organized scientific research and the nationwide resource mobilization system, industry-university-research collaboration, high-quality talent development, and high-energy-level platforms. It also proposes related measures such as continuously deploying a series of major scientific and technological tasks, spearheading transformations in research paradigms with artificial intelligence, and promoting the deep integration of technological innovation and industrial innovation, thereby providing references for decision-making by relevant authorities.
