Abstract

The increasing prevalence of aging and associated diseases poses a substantial challenge worldwide. In recent years, the field of aging research has achieved numerous breakthroughs. Nevertheless, challenges still persist. This study offers a comprehensive analysis of the advancements within China’s aging research, highlighting current challenges and proposing strategy and policy recommendations. These suggestions draw from various areas, including research paradigms and key issues, efficient resource management, development of essential technological research and innovation ecosystems, international collaboration, and considerations of ethics and governance. The aim is to provide valuable insights and guidance for enhancing the quality and impact of aging research in China.
