Logic and Approach for Independent Cultivating Future Leading S & T Talent
Abstract
At present, China is moving towards the grand goal of building a world power in science and technology and a modernized socialist country. The shortage of top-notch innovative talents is one of the key factors restricting China’s efforts to build a world power in science and technology and a modernized socialist country. The report of the 20th CPC National Congress, for the first time, has deployed education, science and technology, and talent in a “trinity” special chapter, coordinated and planned as a whole, providing a fundamental guideline for the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents. This study takes the practice of cultivating topnotch innovative talents in the field of life sciences and medicine as an example, systematically combs through the current situation of cultivating top-notch innovative talents in the field of life sciences and medicine in China, and takes the practice of cultivating topnotch innovative talents in the field of life sciences and medicine by 15 medical schools, scientific research institutes, and enterprises as an object, analyzes the current problems, and at the same time, investigates the practices and characteristics of cultivating top-notch innovative talents in eight international medical elite colleges and universities. This paper reflects on the cultivation of top-notch innovative talents in the field of life sciences and medicine in China and puts forward relevant policy suggestions.
