Abstract

Cultivating top innovative talents through the integration of research and teaching in high-level research universities is an important initiative to promote the implementation of the integrated development of education, science and technology, and talents. The development history of the integration of research and teaching in China has been divided into four stages, namely, ice-breaking integration, exploratory integration, diversified integration, and upgraded integration. Taking University of Science and Technology of China as an example, the chain model, the collaborative model, and the integration model for top innovative talents cultivation by integrating of research and teaching are described and analyzed in detail in this article. Finally, we summarize the three core meanings that need to be always adhered to in the innovation of top innovative talents cultivation.
