Abstract

In view of the fact that there are still some vague and one-sided understandings of the strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt from all walks of life, this study provides an analytical framework, trying to preliminarily analyze the strategy's development history and policy context since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, to comprehensively understand the strategy from a historical, developmental, and dialectical perspectives. This study also reminds readers on several key issues on the scientific and technological support while promoting the strategy of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, for the purpose of attracting the attention of the scientific and technological community and promoting the following further in-depth research and innovative practices.
