Abstract

Innovation-driven development has been a new development direction among global economies. Innovation statistics provide a new platform for understanding the interaction of science, technology, and economy. The practice of innovation statistics in developed countries has formed a good standard system and international standard. China, based on international practice, has established a new system of innovation statistics and laid the foundation for further promoting the strategy of innovation-driven development. In the future, China will still need to take international standards as the base, understand the development reality of the country, respect the law of statistics, pay attention to the statistics and research of innovative talents, and promote the construction of the innovation statistics system.
