Abstract
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at the core has raised poverty alleviation and development to an important position of country governance. As an important part of the implementation of targeted poverty alleviation and targeted poverty reduction, poverty alleviation through science and technology is an effective way to play the supporting role of science and technology and talents, and is a key measure to win the battle against poverty. Since the fight against poverty began, important progress has been achieved in poverty alleviation through science and technology. This study puts forward 5 points of thinking to further promote poverty alleviation through science and technology: science and technology empowering helps foster poverty alleviation industries; vigorously cultivate leaders for getting rich in poverty-stricken villages; coordinate and integrate various possible resources; popularize and promote the sound practice of poverty alleviation through science and technology; and realize common information sharing.
