Abstract

This study takes the China native young science and technology talents supported by the Youth Innovation Promotion Association of Chinese Academy of Sciences during the 12th Five-Year Plan period which have been promoted to a senior title as the research object, and compares them with the overseas young talents under the age of 35 supported by the Hundred Talent Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Based on the research funding, talent programs, and top journal papers, the paper analyzes the growing trends of China native young science and technology talents, discusses the influencing factors that have an impact on the growth of China native young science and technology talents, and puts forward the policy to strengthen the development of China native young science and technology talents.
