Abstract

At present, it is essential for universities to grasp the historical responsibility for the national initiative of high-quality development in the higher education sector as well as to encourage exploration of comprehensive education reform. To this end, this study uses the innovative and successful strategies adopted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen as a case study to illustrate how cooperative universities serve national and regional strategic needs, learn from international management rules and standards, build up global talent cultivation network as well create promising educational environment. It also gives suggestions on key tasks for high-quality development of higher education in the future.
