Abstract
Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) follows the Secretary General Xi Jinping's request to CAS of "Three Orientations" and "Four Firsts", implements Pioneer Initiative Action thoroughly, and promotes innovative development.Remarkable achievements have been achieved in CAS and versatile situation has formed featured with innovative talents, innovative achievements, and innovative highlights.These drive the leap-forward development of science and technology in China, and contribute greatly to implement innovation driving development strategy and to construct innovative country.This paper introduces that CAS adheres to "Three Orientations", sticks to the remarkable S & T achievements, persistently promote self innovative ability, and achieves a batch of remarkable achievements, while 20 of which are elaborated in detail.At the end of the paper, general guidelines and measures of further promoting the remarkable output are presented.
